Out and about!

Today, Rowan class have been making friends with a stick. They had to really get to know their stick, then pick it out of a pile. Afterwards, they imagined they were the stick and created some brilliant poses! Another fantastic time was had by all with Mrs Kelly, Mrs Sait, Mrs Hills and Mrs Doyle. More adventures coming soon.

Check out the sticky homework at the bottom of this post.

We all named our sticks. Mine was called Sticky McStick...

Stick poses!

Stanley looked just like his stick!

I'm a stick!

Don't forget to find a stick, like the one Mrs Kelly is holding, ready for next Friday.

Austin's elephant!

Rowan class have been working on the first drafts of their elephants. Aren't they incredible?! They are remembering how to be effective critical friends and are doing their job brilliantly. More pictures to come!

Out and about, last week

Rowan class had a lovely time out and about with Mrs Kelly last week. They went down the avenue and in to the nest, before going to find their special tree from year 1. What a lovely time outdoors!

Behind the scenes - cake making

Here are some of our super cake makers who helped make our cake sale such a great success.

Computing fun!

Last half term we had all sorts of fun writing algorithms on the iPads and the computers, using different programs. Don't forget to come back and see what we've been up to this half term!

Rescuing an elephant

We have been out to the place where the baby Pygmy elephant is stranded, to try and decide on the best way to rescue it. We can see lots of problems that we will have to solve before we can get the elephant out.

How on Earth will we calm the mother so we can get in close?

It has taken a lot of big thinking.

Look how creative we are!

Look at our lovely expressive positions during dance. Miss BB thinks we are amazing!
