Shape investigators!

We have been investigating the different 2d shapes that we can make with 4 triangles that we cut from a square. We tried to make triangles, rectangles, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons and octagons. Some of us made parallelograms too! 

We photographed the shapes we made and saved them in Book Creator, so that we could name them. 

 Our mini digital leaders taught us how to type in Book Creator.

We also made the same 2d shapes using Geoboards. It was fun! 

Shape investigators

We have been trying to make lots of different 2d shapes from our squares. Are challenge was to try and make a triangle, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon and octagon. 

To prove we have done them we have taken photographs and are going to put them in book creator, so we can print them off.
